LEXINGTON, Ky., Feb. 5, 2020 — Neogen has expanded its line of quality ergonomic Prima® products to include a 25 mL version of Prima-Shot™ — which, like the 50 mL version, is engineered to be the most accurate repeater syringe in the animal health industry.

Neogen’s new Prima-Shot 25 mL repeater syringe adjusts from 0.25 mL to 2.5 mL in 0.25 mL increments, and features an easy-to-grip dose adjuster dial to make dosing changes easy. The Prima-Shot’s patented design also features a unique rotating pull knob to conveniently fill and engage the syringe.

“The new Prima-Shot syringe is the result of customer feedback that asked for a smaller version of our popular 50 mL syringe,” said Neogen’s Megan Sharpe. “Like the earlier version, the 25 mL syringe is easy to fill and accurate. With the ease of the Prima-Shot design, a caregiver can quickly load the medication and set its dosage — both critical in a situation where a caregiver is servicing a large number of animals in a day.”

Neogen’s Prima-Shot syringes use interchangeable colored pull knob inserts that can quickly be exchanged to easily distinguish between medications. They also feature amber-colored, heavy duty Tritan™ barrels that are BPA-free, highly chemical and scratch-resistant, and have chemical compatibility that surpasses both polycarbonate and polypropylene.
